Our family ancestors

For more than 30 years Bob has taken on the role of not just being the custodian of the family records, but also bringing those records to life. He has written 6 books, 3 of which deal with the ancestors of the Gilliver family, and another 3 books which deal with the ancestors of the McDonnell family (Christine's maiden name).

The various family records include original birth, death and wedding certificates, in some cases going back 150 years. Amongst the formal documents are also priceless hand-written letters from our grandparents and great grandparents, a collection of family bibles, and a wide collection of memorabilia. All of which is meticulously organised, as you can see from the photos below.
